Tennessee College of Applied Technology Oneida/Huntsville’s President Dwight Murphy is pleased to announce as of November 2019, Chris Peters has begun working as the TCAT-Oneida/Huntsville Pathway Coordinator. The new Pathway Coordinator position works in the recruitment and training process with first-generation college students, SNAP/Families First recipients, Morgan County Regional Correctional Complex prisoners, Scott County Jail prisoners, and non-violent offenders from Scott County court system. The Coordinator not only assists with the enrollment process but also assists these individuals with financial aid, removal of barriers and upon program completion - job placement. “I look forward to helping others give back to the community,” remarks Pathways Coordinator Chris Peters. President Dwight Murphy states, “We are excited about this new grant position and the many training opportunities it offers. Workforce development; it’s what we do!”
