Tennessee College of Applied Technology- Oneida/Huntsville is pleased to announce that Colton Jones, a junior at Scott High School, has been chosen as the Secondary “Student of the Month” for January 2017. He is enrolled in the Machine Tool Technology program. The MTT instructor Jared Terry comments, “Colton is very dependable and respectful student. He is well on his way to becoming a successful machinist.” Colton states, “I like Machine Tool Technology—it’s FUN! I have been around my uncle’s machine shop, and I like everything about this field. I am off to a good start, and I look forward to becoming advanced in my training so that I will be able to write the CNC programs.” Colton is the son of Eric and Wendy Jones.
