ONEIDA, TENNESSEE — The faculty and staff of Tennessee College of Applied Technology Oneida/Huntsville gathered on the Oneida campus on Thursday, June 11, to share cake and ice cream and celebrate the retirement of two long-time instructors who are retiring this month.
Darrell Evans, program coordinator for the Powerline Construction and Maintenance program, and John Blackmore, instructor for the Industrial Maintenance - Mechatronics program, are both completing their time at TCAT.
Both Evans and Blackmore were presented with rocking chairs as a gift from TCAT.
Evans is being succeeded by Joey Zachary, a Scott County native who is a long-time employee of Plateau Electric Cooperative.
