Tennessee College of Applied Technology-Oneida/Huntsville’s Machine Tool Technology instructor Jared Terry is pleased to announce that MTT student Dylan Wright received a National Institute for Metalworking Skills (NIMS) certification in August 2016. There are a total of eleven NIMS Level I credentials. Dylan received the Metalworking Skills Certification in Manufacturing Materials & Safety. Dylan states, “Jared is a great teacher and mentor. He is very knowledgeable in the machinist field and has helped me a lot. I plan on getting at least three more NIMS certification credentials before I finish the program.” Jared remarks, “Dylan has progressed very quickly in the MTT program and is a pleasure to have in class.”
