Tennessee College of Applied Technology-Oneida/Huntsville is pleased to announce that Jaime Terry of the Cosmetology program has been selected as the post-secondary “Student of the Month” for August 2017. Her instructors Jayne Roysden states, “Jaime is a topnotch student. She is a very goal oriented person. She is a self-starter with good motivation skills. She motivates herself as well as those around her. Jaime is well liked by her peers and a great team player. While attending college, Jaime has maintained an A average. She will go far in the field of cosmetology. It has been a pleasure to have her as my student.” Jaime comments, “For a long time I wanted to do Cosmetology. So I quit my job and started the classes to work toward my dream. When I got in the class it all seemed so overwhelming, but I had an instructor that pushed me to do my best and much more. Jayne Roysden is a great instructor and believes in her students. She will go above and beyond to see them achieve their goals. I’m glad I took the step toward my dream with her by my side pushing me every step of the way.” Jaime will be completing the Cosmetology program with a diploma in November 2017 from TCAT-Oneida/Huntsville. Soon after, she will be taking her state boards and plans on seeking employment in Scott County.
