Tennessee College of Applied Technology- Oneida/Huntsville’s President Dwight Murphy is pleased to announce that Makayla Yancey, a junior at Oneida High School enrolled in the Cosmetology program has been selected as the Secondary “Student of the Month” for February 2019. Oneida High School Cosmetology instructor Leah Phillips states, “Makayla is a student with a good attitude. She is creative in her work and also a team player. Makayla is serious about her work and strives to perfect her skills. She is planning for her future as a Cosmetologist.” Makayla remarks, “I am having a great time and learning a lot in the COS program at TCAT-Oneida/Huntsville. I plan on coming to Cosmetology class my senior year, and then again after graduation enrolling at TCAT as an adult student.” Makayla is the daughter of Pat Massengale and Wesley Yancey.
