While in College, Rhaylan participates in the Student Government where she holds the office of Secretary and she also works on the Federal Work Study program. Cosmetology instructor Jayne Roysden states, “Rhaylan has proven to be an excellent student. She bounces back and excels when obstacles are put in front of her. She surpasses my expectations and given the chance she will undoubtedly be a success in the field of cosmetology. Her expected date of completion is November 7.” Rhaylan’s comments, “Since I was just a little girl, I’ve dreamed of becoming a beautician. You could almost always find me fixing my hair or putting on some crazy makeup look. I’m very thankful that TCAT has given me the opportunity to make my dreams a reality. From day one my instructor Jayne Roysden has pushed me to reach the potential that she sees in me. I couldn’t thank her enough for being such a wonderful instructor and such a huge inspiration to me. TCAT has given me so much more than just an education. It has given me friends that I consider family and memories that will last a lifetime. I could not be more thankful for all that TCAT and Jayne Roysden have done for me!” Rhaylan is a resident of Scott County and the daughter of Rylan Bowlin and Missy Day.
