Tennessee College of Applied Technology- Oneida/Huntsville’s President Dwight Murphy is pleased to announce that Shiloh Shannon, a senior at Scott High School enrolled in the Computer Information Technology program has been chosen as the Secondary “Student of the Month” for September 2018. Shiloh states, “CIT is a wonderful course to take. Rodney Stephens is a nice teacher and is very welcoming to all new students in this program. I am very pleased to have chosen this course, and I would highly recommend it to anyone that thinks they may be interested in the computer technology field. I have learned a combination of computer terminology, software and hardware, and operating systems.” Comments from Shiloh’s Computer Information Technology instructor Rodney Stephens, “Shiloh is an exceptional high school student. He is diligent and expresses his integrity for IT daily. He has been in the CIT program since his junior year. If Shiloh has ever had a bad day, I haven’t seen it. He greets everyone and every situation with a positive attitude. Shiloh is a person that will not only bring IT skills, but an addictive and positive energy to a future place of employment. Note to IT future employers, keep your IT radar on this guy. He is one worth looking at.” Shiloh is the son of Libby and Audie Shannon.
