Tennessee College of Applied Technology-Oneida/Huntsville’s president Dwight Murphy is pleased to announce that Shonda Hatfield of the Practical Nursing program has been selected as the post-secondary “Student of the Month” for October 2018. Her second trimester PN instructor Jade Kidd states, “Shonda is very compassionate and always willing to help others.” Shonda remarks, “I have been a caregiver all my life. The whole experience here at TCAT-Oneida/Huntsville in the Practical Nursing program has been awesome, and both my instructors, Jade Kidd and Robin Reed, really care about each student succeeding in the program. I am very thankful for the opportunity to be in this program at TCAT-Oneida/Huntsville.” Shonda resides with her husband Dustin Hatfield in Scott County, and they have four children — Kinley, Kolson, Cambria, and Bella.
