President Tim Smith earned both a Bachelor’s and a Master of Science in Elementary Education from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. With two decades of experience in technical education and workforce development, he began his service at TCAT Oneida/Huntsville in 2007 as a high school liaison and guidance counselor. Over the years, President Smith served in various roles at both TCAT Oneida/Huntsville and TCAT Jacksboro, including vice president of TCAT Jacksboro and, most recently, vice president of TCAT Oneida/Huntsville, before being named president in 2026.
