The January 2026 Students of the Month at Tennessee College of Applied Technology Oneida/Huntsville are Isaiah Day and Jayla Smith, President Dwight Murphy announced Monday.
Isaiah is the Post-Secondary Student of the Month. He is enrolled in the Criminal Justice: Correctional Officer program on the Oneida campus and is about to graduate. Once he does, he’ll be the first person to successfully complete this new program and gain employment. He has accepted a job offer at the Scott County Jail.
Jayla is the Secondary Student of the Month. She is a senior at Oneida High School who is dual-enrolled in the Cosmetology program on the Huntsville campus.
