About
The Diesel-Powered Equipment Technology program provides practical experience in the repair and maintenance of engines, fuel systems, electrical systems, clutch and transmissions, hydraulics,
drivelines and axles, frame and suspension systems, steering systems, brake systems, and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Students receive instruction in diagnosing trouble, system analysis, disassembly, replacing defective parts, reassembling, etc. The program mission is to provide technical instruction and skill development to enable students to enter employment in truck, construction, agricultural equipment, and other related fields as technicians. By working on actual diesel powered equipment, students are well prepared to enter the workforce after graduation.
